The Board referred allegations that he Practitioner had taken from charity donation containers while working at Chemist Warehouse Pharmacy.
The Practitioner pleaded guilty in the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria to three theft charges under section 74 of the Crimes Act (Victoria).
The Panel found that the Practitioner's conduct was below the standard expected of a registered practitioner and amounted to unprofessional conduct. The Panel reprimanded the Practitioner.
In determining the sanction the Panel accepted that the Practitioner had reflected on this offending, undertaken additional education and had taken steps to improve financial health including creating a budget, taking on extra work and creating a savings account.
