The Board referred allegations that the Practitioner demonstrated a shortfall in his knowledge of prescribing in the context of reproductive care and early pregnancy management.
The Panel considered that ensuring the clinically appropriate supply of medications as interventions for fertility treatment and in early pregnancy to be of fundamental importance to the provision of safe care.The Practitioner was not registered at the time if the panel hearing. The Panel made recommendations to the Board to consider imposing supervision conditions in the event he is granted registration in the future.
