Allegations/Issues

The practitioner:

  1. was found guilty of the aggravated assault of an 11 year old autistic patient
  2. failed to advise the Board that they had been charged with an offence punishable by 12 months imprisonment or more as required under section 130(3)(a)(i) of the National Law 
  3. failed to advise the Board that they had been convicted of, or subject of a finding of guilt for, an offence punishable by imprisonment as required under section 130(3)(a)(ii) of the National Law 
  4. falsely declared on their registration renewal application lodged on 6 October 2011 (for the renewal period beginning 1 December 2011) that they did not have a criminal history.
