We register individual health practitioners; manage concerns about their health, performance and conduct; and set standards and policies that all registered health practitioners must meet.

Court and tribunal decisions

If, after an investigation, we believe a practitioner’s conduct meets the threshold for serious unprofessional conduct or professional misconduct, we will refer the matter to a court or tribunal. Only a court or tribunal can cancel a practitioner’s registration.

Links to court and tribunal decisions are listed on a practitioner’s registration details page. If a practitioner’s registration has been cancelled, they will be listed on the Cancelled health practitioner register.
