Call for applications - Registration and Notifications Committee of the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia

12 Jun 2024

The Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (the Board) is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced community members for appointment to its Registration and Notifications Committee (the Committee) to assist the Board in its primary role of protecting the public.

The functions of the Committee include:

  • making decisions in relation to registration and notification matters
  • providing professional and practitioner input to Ahpra about occupational therapy registration and notification matters, and
  • making recommendations and providing advice to the Board.

The National Scheme has an important role in ensuring the development of a culturally safe and respectful health workforce that is responsive to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples health and contributes to the elimination of racism in the provision of health services.

To achieve this, we have committed to increasing Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander leadership and voices on the Board and its committees and warmly invite Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders to apply.

To view the vacancy and submit an application, please visit the Committee member recruitment page.

For general enquiries, please email [email protected].

Applications close on Sunday 21 July 2024 at 11.55pm, Australian Eastern Standard Time.
