Health practitioners across 12 professions have until 30 November 2018 to renew their registration on time.
More than 170,000 health practitioners are due to renew registration with their National Board by 30 November. The quickest and easiest way to renew is online.
The professions due to renew are: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health practitioners, Chinese medicine practitioners, chiropractors, dental practitioners, medical radiation practitioners, occupational therapists, optometrists, osteopaths, pharmacists, physiotherapists, podiatrists and psychologists.
Practitioners, whose application is received on time or during the following one month late period, can continue practising while their application is processed.
Anyone who does not apply to renew their registration by 31 December 2018 will have lapsed registration. They will be removed from the national register and will not be able to practise their profession in Australia.
