Call for expressions of interest - Tasmanian Board of the Medical Board of Australia
The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) supports the 14 National Health Profession Boards in their primary role of protecting the public. AHPRA manages the registration and notification handling processes for health practitioners and students across Australia.
State, territory and regional boards exercise their functions in the jurisdiction to provide an effective and timely local response to health practitioners and other persons.
Applications are sought from interested persons in Tasmania to fill a community member vacancy on the Tasmanian Board of Medical Board of Australia.
To be eligible for a community member vacancy you must not at any time have been registered as a health practitioner in the health profession for which the National Board is established.
Tasmanian Board appointments are made by the Tasmanian Minister for Health under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, as in force in each state and territory. Appointments are for up to three years, with eligibility for reappointment, and are expected to commence in early 2016.
For more information on the role and the application process, please download the application guide and application forms below.
For enquiries, email statutoryappointments@ahpra.gov.au.
Expressions of interest close Monday 4 January 2016.
