Call for applications for appointment to the Medical Board of Australia.

Applications are called to fill the following vacancy on the Medical Board of Australia:

  • practitioner member from Queensland

For this vacancy, to be eligible for appointment as a practitioner member on the National Board, you must hold current registration as a medical practitioner and be from Queensland.

National Board appointments are made by the Australian Health Workforce Ministerial Council (AHWMC), under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law as in force in each state and territory (the National Law). Appointments are for up to three years, with eligibility for reappointment as decided by AHWMC and will commence in January 2015.
