Costs of accreditation

In 2016, the Accreditation Liaison Group coordinated collection of costs data and development of a report on the Cost of Accreditation in the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme. The report focused on ensuring an accurate representation of the costs of accreditation in the National Scheme.

Following publication of the report, Accreditation Authorities, National Boards and Ahpra agreed to publish updated costs data for future years.

The costs information for 2016/17 and 2017/18 was collected and added to the individual profession profiles to show Accreditation costs over a five-year period.

The initial costs report notes a number of qualifications and limitations with the existing data and templates. These issues also apply to the 2016/17 and 2017/18 data sets.
